Topics: Applications will be considered from outstanding candidates in the field of political science. The successful applicant will initiate and participate in research projects in the area of political science with relevance for Hungary. IPS is a disciplinary institute of political science in Hungary with the following main areas of research: political behaviour, governance and public policy studies, political theory and theories of democracy. The future postdoctoral fellow will be involved in research on one of the following specific areas: political implications of population ageing, political pledges and political programmes, trust in political institutions.
Eligibility: The candidate will have a citizenship from a European Union country; a PhD in political science, as well as a proven record of research and publications in peer-reviewed journals. In addition, the successful candidate will have evidence of good oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively in English, evidence of the ability and willingness to work flexibly as part of a team.
